Senior Clinical Care Coordinator - Regional VIC

The Role: A Unique Leadership Opportunity

Are you a Senior Nurse who thrives when given ownership of your work? We are moving away from the traditional Clinical Care Manager (CCM) model and are seeking a Senior Clinical Coordinator to take the lead.

In this streamlined structure, the facility is divided into two distinct clinical wings. You will be "in-charge" of your half of the facility, working alongside one other Clinical Coordinator. With no CCM between you and the Facility Manager, you will have a direct seat at the leadership table and the autonomy to drive clinical excellence in your area.

Mandatory Requirements

Because of the level of responsibility in this structure, we are only seeking candidates with:

• Proven Senior Leadership: You must have previous experience as a Clinical Care Manager (CCM) or Nurse Unit Manager (NUM).

• Confidence & Competence: You are comfortable being the primary clinical decision-maker for your wing.

• Aged Care Expertise: Deep knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC.

• AHPRA Registration: Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration.

• Relocation: You must be willing to relocate. While the town is a beautiful 1.5–2 hour drive from Melbourne, this is a full-time residential role, not a commute.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Full clinical oversight and accountability for half of the facility.

• Mentoring and leading the RNs and care staff within your wing.

• Ensuring clinical compliance, incident management, and high-quality resident outcomes.

• Collaborating closely with your counterpart CC and the Facility Manager to ensure consistent care across the home.
